Possibilities

Shaun and I are going to Denver with our mutual friend Nick to Denver to have dinner with Shaun's grandparents. They are so sweet! I can't wait to go. It's going to be so nice to see them. Shaun and I had pizza today and watched football. What else is new?... Nothing really. I'll be 17 weeks pregnant when Shaun and I go to the temple. We'll be able to find out the gender by then! :) Happy times. <3

Random stuff

It snowed last night! FINALLY! I live in Colorado people... I should have had snow like last month! It wasn't alot but I'm glad to see it! I had two tests today. I passed one for sure and I find out the score for the other tomorrow. :) Doing my best to maintain my 4.0

I have school from 6-10am and It's funny ... well not really funny... but I start of the day all grumpy and crappy and leave me alone... and by the end of the day I'm laughing and making jokes. It's just so hard to try to learn and be all motivated that early in the morning. I never was good at it even when I was in the army.

I still have that awful cold :( I still feel all nauseus and gross and on top of that.... I'M BREAKING OUT LIKE A 13 YEAR OLD!!!! Oh my gosh it looks and feels so bad! Back acne, pimples on my forehead cheeks and chin! :( ugh I'm even using Proactiv and it just seems like its getting worse... and proactiv usually works for me. Sigh.

I've also decided to put some goals in place to help me in my life right now. Here they are:

• Keep a journal!: This should help me know myself a little bit better. I find that writing things down makes my life a little bit more clear.
• Read the scriptures!: Shaun and I decided to start reading The Book of Mormon again. We used to when we first got married and when he came home from Afghanistan but we fell away from that somehow.
• Pray every day!: I stopped praying! How awful is that? Day by day I'm feeling more and more like something is missing in my life by the minute and I realise that I'm not even praying to my Heavenly Father.... wowsa... I notice that when I feel like I have an open relationship with my Father in Heaven I feel the spirit more which brings me happiness and security.
• Keep the house clean!: I already do little things here and there but I want to start going more in depth and maybe it'll make my husband happier when he comes home from work to a clean and organized house. I don't have a job so it should be the least I can do.

Anyhow. I was really excited about these new goals and I felt anxious to share them with friends that will be willing to listen to them. Kira was my jumpstart to wanting to read my scriptures and praying. I read one of her blogs where she was talking about how she was having a hard time in her life and she did those things and they helped her ALOT. So that motivated me to do the same. So Kira, if you're reading this, Thank you! You have motivated me to improve my life. You've always been a wonderful friend and a great example for me to look up to. I love you!

13 weeks and counting

I was thinking.... I've been pregnant for 3 months now and I have one week left in my first trimester. Ironically enough... I hadn't been so "puky" but once I aknowledged that the worst was almost over I started throwing up left and right.... :( I absolutely HATE throwing up. It's awful. I scream and cry the whole time because when I throw up I throw up EVERYTHING. I might as well squeez my stomach through my esophagus and call it good. Anyway... on top of that I've had a really bad cold for the last week.... I think it's finally starting to die down and might go away in a couple of days. Knock on wood. It's just interesting how my body decided that because I wasn't sick evenly throughout the first trimester it would just "catch up" so to speak at the end of it. I've heard that the second trimester is the best! I really hope it is! Anyway. Just thought I'd put that out there.

We had a stinking AWESOME tech today! She got some great images! No we don't just go in getting ultra sounds whenever we want either. Today was to test for disablities which luckily everything looked fabulous! The little one is 6.35 cm long from head to butt. Not as wiggly today which is good cause we were able to get much better images. The little one reached up and waved at us and wiggled their little fingers and everything! The brain looks great the heart is working great 145 so we're doing good! We even checked out the "genitalia" area just for the heck of it and there was a little sum'n sum'n there.... the tech said if she was a guess'n woman she'd say it's a boy! lol. . . we'll just have to wait until january to find out. One week to go and i'll be in my 2ND TRIMESTER! WOOP WOOP!

12 weeks

Well we're at about 12 weeks now. I still feel like poop all the time but i'm looking forward to when that goes away. Right about now our baby is about 2 inches long! "The size of a lime" I've put on about 5 pounds and my clothes are getting tighter and tighter. I have to keep telling myself. "YOU'RE NOT FAT YOU'RE PREGNANT!" I wish I could say that works. About one more week and I'll be moving into the second trimester category. How exciting!

11 Weeks Pregnant

I can't believe it! 11 weeks pregnant. That's one week shy of 3 months! The tech that did the ultrasound said that our baby is 3 oz and about an inch and a half. I can't feel it yet. Or if I can I imagine it's much like gas or butterflies.
I was shocked at how wiggly the little marshkin was! I had no idea they could move that soon! It was a whole different feeling actually being able to see the little guy/girl. Surreal... I'm amazed at how beautiful this whole process is.
Shaun and I are a very happily married in love couple and we've created life together! I love it. God is a miracle worker. I hope that our little "gummy bear" continues to grow big and healthy.

and we have a wiggly one! The little one was rollin around in there and kickin and stuff... oh boy... this proves to be an interesting pregnancy if the little one keeps that up. :)
